So Many Partings is the third album by Silly Wizard, originally released in 1980 (Highway SHY 7010 / Shanachie 79016), and re-released on CD in 1990 by Shanachie Records. The cover features a gatefold painting of the Highland Clearances.

  1. A Scarce O'Tatties /Lyndhurst. "A Scarce O'Tatties" is a jig by Norman MacLean, and seems to be based on the traditional Scottish song "The Banks of the Devon," for which Scottish poet Robert Burns wrote lyrics. [1]
